Job Description:
Sir Paints a Lot is seeking a motivated and eager Entry-Level Painter to join our team on various residential painting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong willingness to learn, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering top-notch results. As an Entry-Level Painter, you will receive on-the-job training and gain valuable experience in painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing touches, all while contributing to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, and applying primer.
Learn and apply painting techniques using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
Support the painting team in ensuring all work meets quality standards and client specifications.
Perform touch-ups and repairs as directed to maintain a flawless finish.
Maintain clear and open communication with clients, project managers, and team members.
Help manage and care for painting equipment and materials.
Uphold safety standards and protocols to create a safe working environment.
Address and resolve any minor issues or challenges that arise during the painting process.
Participate in final inspections and touch-ups to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
No prior painting experience required; a strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
Basic knowledge of painting materials and techniques is a plus but not mandatory.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Any previous experience in painting or related fields is a plus but not required.
