Job Description:
Sir Paints a Lot is seeking a skilled and motivated Crew Lead to oversee our painting crews on various residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering great results. As a Crew Lead, you will be responsible for managing your team, ensuring the highest standards of quality, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of painters on residential painting projects.
Ensure all painting work meets quality standards and client specifications.
Organize and oversee the setup, execution, and cleanup of painting jobs.
Conduct initial assessments of job sites to plan and delegate tasks effectively.
Maintain clear and open communication with clients, project managers, and team members.
Monitor work progress, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
Manage inventory and ensure the proper use and maintenance of painting equipment and materials.
Uphold safety standards and protocols to create a safe working environment.
Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the painting process.
Conduct final inspections and touch-ups to ensure client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a lead painter or crew lead in the residential painting industry.
Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and safety regulations.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to problem-solve and make decisions on the fly.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential painting, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
